The cell phone is never forgotten. We can forget everything except the phone. It's there that all our pictures, our news, our diary, shopping list, books, and information is, and we depend on it for our communication. In summary, our life is there. When someone forgets their cell phone, they also forget their life within it. Tell me what applications you have downloaded and I will tell you who you are.
Many people become irritated when I forget my phone, when I am not connected to Facebook or when I don't respond to a message. It's all over, if my girlfriend sees the two blue ticks in WhatsApp and I don't reply. She will say that I do not care about her. Even those who are not used to using gadgets lose their patience when I lose my mobile. My mother gets mad when she tries to call me and my phone starts ringing next to her, on the sofa. But I have an advantage over those who are said to be "normal": I can forget my phone, but my life will continue with me even if my phone is at home.
No one ever forgets their mobile, except me. But there is a time when everyone forgets their phone: when cleaning. In modern times we're very concerned with hygiene. We wash our hands before and after eating. The vast majority of those who walk every day in clothes that are washed, have probably never washed their cell phone, although they have had it with them while doing all their other cleaning. They do not even wash or dry the case of the device, which is the clothing of the cellular.
We eat lunch and small pieces fall onto the device and make it dirty. We go to the bathroom and it continues to be infected. We walk down the sidewalk, find trash that some rude person has thrown on the ground, we throw it in the bin, but have a look at the "Facebook" profile of someone before cleaning our hands. After all of that, we wash our hands and, before starting dinner, we change our "status" to "#left_to_eat_pizza" and our hands become dirty again.
While everything around us is clean, our phone is still dirty and there is no application that performs this type of cleaning, at least for now. Have you ever seen anybody washing their cell phone? If I did that they would say: "Look at that drunk, he's washing his hands with an old Nokia cell phone. He must have it confused with a bar of soap."I have never see any sign or heard someone say "Wash your phone before handling food." Because in this moment, the phone is forgotten. Meanwhile all these bacteria are at your fingertips, right there on the surface of your phone.
